Nurse
From Nursing Career
A nurse is an educated person with an enhanced capacity to assess, and provide suitable interventions, for a patient/client's health care deficit, or needs, which the patient/client can not provide themselves, or employ without assistance. This may be of a physical, or psychological nature, or both. A nurse will act in the patient/clients best interest, and act as an advocate for the patient when that role is desired. (Barry L. Davies)
