Travel nursing is a form of temporary nursing employment where nurses are relocated to assignments that generally range from 4 to 13 weeks. Temporary nurse staffing is an industry that has arisen in reaction to the nursing shortage and travel nursing assignments are usually negotiated with travel nursing agencies as opposed to directly with the hospital.
